The current events page features a complimentary half-day seminar series, the 2024 Summit on Drug Development, created with ELDICO Scientific AG and focused on methods and techniques that improve drug-development programs.
2026 Summit on Drug Development: featured topics
Introducing Electron Diffraction for Pharmaceutical Development
The seminar introduces electron diffraction, dedicated electron diffractometers, and the benefits of MicroED / 3D ED for pharmaceutical materials, including crystalline particles smaller than those required for single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
Dedicated Electron Diffractometer Case Studies
Case studies address use of a dedicated electron diffractometer to identify polymorphs, cocrystals, or salts; determine absolute configuration; detect unknown formulation impurities; and obtain crystallization or molecular-structure information from very small sample amounts.
Protecting Pharmaceutical intellectual Property
The IP seminar covers what chemists should know about protecting pharmaceutical IP, using crystalline-form and process patent examples to explain pitfalls and successful patent strategies.
Rapid Amorphous Solid Dispersion Screening and Development
The ASD seminar presents case studies where amorphous solid dispersion candidates are rapidly determined using an integrated toolkit, including examples of crystallization-onset detection with multiple analytical techniques and MicroED.

Seminar questions
Are the seminars free?▾
The events page says Triclinic is happy to provide half-day and one- or two-hour seminars at no cost. Extended short courses or customized multi-day training can also be constructed at standard consulting rates.
Can seminars be tailored?▾
Yes. Triclinic can tailor presentations toward specific areas of interest, and under CDA can discuss specific issues the group is encountering.
Can Triclinic run the experiments discussed?▾
Yes. The guidance notes that Triclinic scientists are able to conduct the experiments discussed in seminars, including solid-form discovery and development, polymorph and cocrystal screening, salt screening, analytical testing, release testing, IP support, imaging, and mapping.
Can slides be distributed?▾
The current events FAQ says Triclinic sends a PDF for registered onsite or in-house seminars and provides a copy of the slides after the event.
